THE FORGED DIFFERENCE
We’re Allan and Sophie, the people behind FORGED Fitness.
The training side.
Allan’s love for fitness started when he was 14 and the gym has been a huge part of his life ever since. From training as a personal trainer to spending years in the corporate world as an accountant, training was always the thing he came back to.
The Studio started with his idea to create a gym filled with quality, unique equipment that he felt was missing locally, in a space that was welcoming, considered and genuinely enjoyable to train in.
The creative side.
Sophie is the creative brain behind FORGED. With a background in graphic design, marketing and helping bring new homes to life, that same focus has gone into shaping the FORGED brand.
From the website, logos and social media to the design and feel of the gyms themselves, the goal has always been to make FORGED feel considered, different and recognisably ours.
One late-night conversation.
Like a lot of great ideas, FORGED started around the kitchen table. Allan joked about opening a different kind of gym, and somehow that conversation turned into late nights, big decisions and eventually the opening of FORGED Fitness Studio in Thurgoona.
Two spaces. One idea.
Since then, FORGED has grown with the addition of the Fitness Factory in Lavington, a bigger, heavier and more strength-focused space filled with specialised equipment and more ways to train.
Together, the Thurgoona Studio and Lavington Factory allow us to offer two very different training environments, giving people more choice and a better chance of finding a gym that actually feels right for them.
FORGED has been created from the ground up with our own ideas, standards and members in mind. We want to build gym spaces that offer real value, help people feel comfortable and supported, and give them somewhere they genuinely enjoy coming to train.
