We’re Allan and Sophie, the faces behind Forged Fitness.

Allan’s love for fitness started when he was just 14 years old, and it has been a passion that has shaped his life ever since. From training as a personal trainer to spending several years in the corporate world as an accountant, the gym has always been his second home.

Forged Fitness Studio was born from his dream to create a gym with the kind of unique, high quality equipment he felt was missing locally. A space that felt different, welcoming, well thought out, and built for people who genuinely love to train.

I’m Sophie, the creative brain behind Forged Fitness. As a graphic designer by trade, I have spent years helping others bring their dream homes to life with local builders. Now, I have turned that same focus into shaping our own dream business, from the website and logos, to the branding, design, social media, and the overall feel of the spaces.

Like all great ideas, this one started as a late night conversation at the kitchen table, where Allan joked about opening a unique gym. Many late nights, big decisions, and surprisingly few fights later, Forged Fitness Studio became a reality.

Since then, FORGED has continued to grow. With the addition of our new Fitness Factory in Lavington, we have been able to bring even more to the local training community. The Factory was created as a bigger, heavier, more strength focused space, filled with specialised equipment, multiple lifting areas, and the kind of training environment we knew people in the area were looking for.

Together, the Thurgoona Studio and Lavington Factory give our members more choice, more variety, and more ways to train under one FORGED membership.

We’re proud that Forged Fitness has been created from the ground up by us, with our own ideas, our own standards, and our community in mind. Our mission has always been to build gym spaces that feel welcoming, offer real value, and give people somewhere they feel comfortable, supported, and excited to train.
